20 minutes down the road, Nolin Lake State Park offers a beautiful sandy beach with a designated swimming area open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park also features a free boat ramp, clean bathrooms, and year-round access to scenic hiking and mountain biking trails at Brier Recreation Area. Be sure to check the special fishing regulations before casting your line.

Be sure to book a tour ahead of time to immerse yourself in the fascinating history, geology, and exploration of these incredible caves. We can't recommend this enough!

~ Dollar General is the closest, located just minutes away. This convenient market offers most of the basic provisions you may need, making it perfect for a quick stop if you run out of something.
~ Walmart and Save-a-Lot in Leitchfield, roughly 20 minutes north, are larger stores with a wider selection for those looking to stock up on essentials.
~ If you're coming from the south, Bowling Green is about 40 miles away and has plenty of big-box stores to choose from, offering an even broader selection.
Morgan's place was exceptional. This was the first Airbnb where I actually slept better than I do at home-the beds were incredibly comfortable, and between the quiet setting and the blackout curtains, the sleep quality was outstanding.
The house felt brand new and was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a huge bonus and perfect for unwinding after long days exploring the local caves and rivers.
Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time there. I would absolutely recommend Morgan's place without hesitation.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. We especially appreciated having access to the kitchen appliances, since we planned to cook many of our meals. The outdoor amenities were lovely, and spending time by the fireplace was a highlight for our family. We felt right at home and would happily stay here again!

Meet Your Hosts

Hi! We’re so glad you’re here.
Twin Waters was created to be the kind of place that feels harder and harder to find these days. A place where families and friends can slow down, spend real time together, and make the kind of memories that stick long after the trip is over.
We fell in love with the Nolin Lake area because of how simple life feels here. Long days at the lake, quiet mornings with coffee, evenings around the fire, kids playing outside, and everyone somehow ending up together by the end of the night. With more than two acres to enjoy, Twin Waters gives you plenty of room to slow down and make the most of that feeling.
When designing the home, we focused on creating a space that was comfortable, fun, and easy for groups to enjoy together. From making s’mores by the fire to relaxing in the hot tub to playing arcade games to eating dinner together outside by the pond there’s something here for every age and plenty of room to be together without ever feeling crowded.
We know there are a lot of places you could choose to spend your vacation, and we never take it lightly when someone chooses Twin Waters. Whether it’s your first trip to Nolin Lake or a tradition you come back to year after year, we hope this home becomes the backdrop for some really meaningful memories with the people you love.
We’re always available if you need anything during your stay, but otherwise we’ll let you settle in, relax, and enjoy lake life.
Sincerely, Taylor and Morgan
